Received bottle from Liquid Solutions in Oregon. Pours an opaque dark brown brew with a fast dissolving tan head that dissipates nearly clean. Aroma of toasted dark malt, some chocolate, and just a touch of coffee. Taste is medium to full bodied, light carbonated with flavors of toasted dark malt, roasted nuts, chocolate and some bitter coffee. Finish is semi-dry with a toasted and smoked dark malt aftertaste that sticks around after the finish.

Jul 3, 2008 12oz bonus from a trade, great name. Shared with my gf Cyn. Pours black with a puffy tan head. Nose is slightly sweet with a bit of a hopped nose. Taste is sweet, and really pretty nice. Can’t say I know what to think of this and its pretty sweet and thing but nicely thin. Strangely good.

Jun 22, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark brown with rid highlights and a lacy tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Full sweet taste of chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts, oatmeal and brown sugar. Semi-dry finish.

Jun 11, 2008 Deep brown with nice ruby highlights and a medium, creamy head. Roasted malts, plenty o’ milk, chocolate, and some coffee hnaging out as well. Soft mouth. Roasted malts, chocolate, not as much milk as I was expecting from the nose, some coffee, and a sour finish. While I was hoping for more of the milk notes, this is an easy drinking, tasty porter. I’d have a night of these.

Jun 3, 2008 Brown color with light head. Roasted malt with faint coffee aroma. A light body with a little more coffee and chocolate flavors than I’d expect form a porter. Nice.

May 28, 2008 This poured from a 22 oz bottle a very deep mahogany color with a fat tan head and very pronounced lacing rings. Nose of roasted malts with chocolate first and then coffee in the background. Medium body with a clean refreshing mouthfeel. Flavor is kind of laid back, and of roasted malts and light chocolate. Medium bitter finish. Overall very easy to drink and quite enjoyable.
