Big pineapple and citrus nose, some pine. Solid citrus-rind bitterness, plenty of resin, very well balanced. Yeah, the PacNW didn’t really need one more c-hop IPA, but hey, I’ll take one that’s this well put together anytime. bhensonb (4347), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours a lightly hazy amber with a one finger clingy beige head. Aromas of floral and pine. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is bready caramel, floral hop, but this is overcome by a lot of resin. High IBU. It’s a little astringent. It’s hard to get at the malt, but it’s hiding below all the hop. Truly a NW hop bomb. Course having a honey mead just before this may be coloring my opinion. :) boFNjackson (1315), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Bottle... Poured a amberish/orange with a thick, frothy, off-white head. Floral, hop aroma with a touch of sweet, malted grains. Thick palate, big carbonation. A very floral IPA, low bitterness, like drinking beer candy. A solid balance and a citrus fruit, and earthy grass flavor. riversideAK (2761), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Grassy, floral, and light citrus hops in the nose. Soft bready/grainy malts as well. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin head and some sticky lacing. Grassy and floral hops up front. Some sweeter fruity malts. Citrusy finish. A little bit juicy. cmonster (112), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Bomber served in a tulip. Dark orange color with a slight haze and a tight two-finger white head that is shortlived and not very sticky. Plenty of malts in this one showing on the nose and palate. Medium body amd soft carbonation. Chocolate and bitterness on the finish. Too malty for me. Taverner (863), San Ramon, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2009 Pours and orange copper with yellow-tan head. Aroma is pine, citrus and grass. Flavor is much like 2Hearted by Bells. Crisp, grassy, floral. One of Laurelwood’s best IPAS. Gooney (61), Oregon, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2009 22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer - This one had a very nice aroma. It looked like something out of a dream with a nice copper hue and a 1" creamy head to keep all the goodness in. The flavor was a bit disappointing in that it was a bit malty for my taste, but the hops more than made up for it. Nice beer. neepsntatties (345), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nose... very citrusy hops with a hint of Seville orange marmalade. Palate... very hoppy burst up front, tangy, piney, plenty of grapefruit zest and wedge skin. Nice!
