Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 2, 2007 On tap at 2007 Holiday Ale Festival--Poured a bold golden-copper body with a fluffy, effervescent white head. Bright yeasty, hoppy, floral nose with spicy grittiness and unique esters. Crisp and sprite-full finish. A little unbalanced and odd, but overall, quite nice. Earlier Rating: 12/2/2007 Total Score: 3.7 At Holiday Ale Fest 2007--Poured a glowing orange-golden body with an off-white head. Looked much like a bold saison. Big malt aroma with fruity hops and mild Belgian yeastiness. Biting carbonation and a sweet, bready malt and spice finish. boFNjackson (542), Portland, Oregon, USA Nov 30, 2007 Holiday Ale Fest... Poured a bright orange with a slightly off-white head. Strong malt aroma. Highly carbonated and a strong sizzle in the back of your tongue. Sort of one dimensional for the style. Sweet malt a slightly chalky. Jolly rancher like and sweet citrus. Tangy finish.
