Bottle (GBBF 2006): Wheaty vanilla with allspice and alcohol. Refreshing, moreish farmyard ale.

Bottle from Bier Temple in Brussels. Hazy yellow with small-ish white head. Strong aroma of fried okra, which I’m actually quite fond of. Similar taste with orange and walnuts to make things interesting. It tastes strangely familiar - reminds me of Thanksgiving dinner in Texas. A truly unique beer. Worth the fare to Brussels just to pick it up!

Bottle. Quite thin and alcoholic. Some citrusy detergenty fizz, with some peppery alcohol in the finish, quite yeasty, and as i said, quite carbonated.

[Bottled] Clear golden. Dominated by orange marmelade. Fairly sweet with some red apples and light spritzy mouthfeel. No bitterness. Inviting, aromatic and estery - I like it a lot.

Bottle at GBBF 2006. Gold, cloudy, lasting off white head. Banana, yeast, quite attractive aroma. Nice enough finish. Enough citrus to be interesting, even some hop. Long finish and I found it drinkable.

Bottled – GBBF. A golden coloured headless beer. The aroma is yeasty and lemony with some peppery notes and some hops. The taste is yeasty and lemony. Very Belgian and a little too highly carbonated, but a nice drink.

Bottled. Citrus and very fruity aroma. Dark yellow color, white head, fair lace. Sweet, citrus, fruity, bit yeasty. Sparkling and sticky in the finish.

Hazy golden with a very small head. Sour-sweetish-malty aroma with orange, lemon and honey hints. Acidic, sweetish flavor with some hop bitterness, lots of wheatiness, and hints of honey and oranges. Medium-bodied, acidic palate with quite low carbonation. A very basic, slightly witbier-acidic blonde. Gets smoother with yeast and when warming up.
