Feb 3, 2009 Bottle in Massachusetts. Amber body, slight head. Caramel nose and taste throughout. Sweet tasting. Some hops at the end.

Jan 30, 2009 Caramel malts, pale malts evident on the nose. The appearance is clear amber red, thin white head. The flavor is standard for the style, caramel malts, some cereal grains, light hops. The finish is almost non-existent. Very light hops, gone in a flash. Definitely a poundable beer. And, I now check Isreal off the list. Not bad overall.

Bottle from Once Upon A Vine - North on 08/08/2008. Clear copper amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Grain, light corn, some honey and malt aroma. Very sweet, somewhat sugary corn flavor with honey blending in. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. 4/2/5/3/10 - 2.4

Nov 16, 2008 Pours up clear copper with minute long off white head. The aroma hits first with grainy malts and cereal before noble floral and spicy hops take over. I think I get a background of earthiness in there too. The taste has a pulse of sweet sugar flavored malts first that are quickly consumed by mild grains, floral and spice hops bitterness. The floral hops and grains run into the finish with a hint of earthiness picking up somewhere along the way and hanging into the after taste. Interesting brew and pretty decent for the style.

Oct 20, 2008 Is indeed a dirty blond in color. Fairly standard lager aroma; hints of green apple. Mediocre bready flavor. Slightly oily mouthfeel.

Sep 27, 2008 Ticking Israel here. Amber, slight head. Aroma was of sweet malts with faint, undefined hops. Flavor was overtly caramel accented, with undefined hops providing some bitterness. But not enough to ward off the sweetness . Just too much caramel here for me. Shared with Mike and maniac during Cluster Brew Part Deux.

Sep 17, 2008 Cold 11.2oz bottle: Pours a nice orange-copper color with a moderate amount of off-white bubbles. Aroma is of sweet malts, spice and light fruits with notes of earth and grass. Taste is of sweet malts with some light fruit and mild, earthy hops. Smooth with a watery texture and mild carbonation. Ending is of sweet malts with notes of spice and grass.
