5/8/09 at Hop Scotch, Seattle, Wa. Quite to style, with low banana in the nose that comes out stronger in the flavor, solid phenolics throughout.

On tap at Tap House in Seattle. Color was a dull gold; a bit cloudy. Aroma was very nice. Very delicious with banana, clove and spice. Flavor was pretty creamy, but it also had a bit of crispness to it. Banana and spice, with a good amount of sweetness. Delicious summer beer.

Tap at Taphouse Grill. Pours a nice shade of hazy orange yellow. Thin head. Aroma of banana and clove and some soft wheat. Nice fruity sweetness accompanied by soft wheat and a nice thirst quenching finish.

Gorgeous, luminous cloudy straw-orange haze. Easy wheat with light yeast and clove bouquet. Nice flavor indicative of a German yeast strain. Strong, pleasant clove and smooth wheat. Medium-bodied, refreshing, slightly on the light side. Wheat twang on finish that becomes a lemony sourness

On draft at the brewery. Pours a cloudy gold white a big and incredibly lacy head. Medium-light body and carbonation. Has the hallmark bananas and cloves in the aroma and taste. Crisp finish. Perfect beer for a hot day rather than a rainy cold night like last night.

Golden Hazy colour. No head to speak of (of course I like that). There’s really nothing remarkable about this Hefe... if you know the style you know what you’ll get.

Draft at Beveridge Place (Lazy Boy brewer’s night). Yellowy gold, not super cloudy for a hef. Citrus and melon on the nose and nearly in the finish; malty sweet on the attack. Good medium body and carbonation--nice mouthfeel for a hef. Overall, almost punishingly sweet, though.
