Malty nose, mix of dark pitted fruit and pale fruit skin on the tongue. Bready malt flavored start, semi-sweet, slight dark pitted fruit. Moderate body and moutheel. Doesn’t feel big enough to be a Barley Wine, well at least as to how it is for this Barley Wine fest. Body and mouthfeel are quite moderate. Not big enough tho. Clean finish, bready, with a combination dark pitted fruit and pale fruit skin ending. Meaty, malty, semi-sweet, with a soft dark ptited fruit aspect. Not quite the Old Ale I was expecting, but still enjoyable.

This one was pretty light and not very complex...not much to it. A bit tart for a barleywine. Good to see new beers from Lazy Boy....and this is decent, but nothing crazy.
