Body is light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), with a strong note of buttery diacetyl.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pretty much a diacetyl bomb with an unpleasant aftertaste to match. 1FastSTi (2580), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

The aroma is phenolic with a light pineapple and some silage. The flavor is silage, light caramel malts, not too shabby. The palate is smooth, balanced, nice texture, drinkable. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Poured an orangey-amber color with creamy white head which it didn’t retain. Not heavy and very drinkable, what the English call a "session beer". Has a unique taste that is hard to describe, but the taste grows on you. No hops, no bitterness, no real distinguishable taste characteristic. mmurray (3), Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2006 Amberjaque is a
light amber ale made with Pale malts, Rye, and Caramel malts. A
wonderful refreshing light bodied ale, it’s the perfect starter beer. The
aroma hops provide a hint of spice, but there is no bitterness in this
beer. legion242 (1586), Richardson, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2006 A very nice amber- everything that I look for. Minimal hops with a dominance of malt. Very surprising for a little brewery in Mississippi. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2006 A amber pour with a small head and good lacing. The aroma was somewhat toasted with some darker malts present. The flavor was for sure more sweet than hoppy, darker malts present, some nuts, no real caramel flavors, a touch of v. lightly toasted character. Mouthfeel was a bit sticky due to the sweetness, but this beer finished with enough hop presence to keep it from being cloying, but not bitter or "hoppy." I wouldn’t drink many of these in a row, but it’s a good one to try one at a time. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 9, 2006 This was actually better than I thought it would be. Watery toffee colored beer. Sticky head. Nose is mostly just harsh carbonation. Slight toffee-ish rust smell. NO hops. Flavors are pretty watered down as well. Nutty water. Eh 11026 (1779), Alabama, USA
