I am almost out and already have a back-up waiting. Best American Amber Ale I have tasted so far. I like it better than my old favorite, Newcastle Brown Ale. jodyperkins (72), Mississippi, USA

Nice amber color. Great flavor, not as strong as the southern pecan but very tasty. mmurray (3), Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2006 Amberjaque is a
light amber ale made with Pale malts, Rye, and Caramel malts. A
wonderful refreshing light bodied ale, it’s the perfect starter beer. The
aroma hops provide a hint of spice, but there is no bitterness in this
beer. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

Not heavy and very drinkable, what the English call a "session beer". Has a unique taste that is hard to describe, but the taste grows on you. No hops, no bitterness, no real distinguishable taste characteristic. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Acidic palate. Bit of lace. Yeast at bottom of bottles. Medium mouthfeel. Unusual, Southern experiment. What’s next for this brewery? Thanks JoeyC by way of Aracauna. legion242 (1588), Richardson, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2005 Slightly hazed, medium amber body with a thinnish creamy head. The aroma is less hoppy than what I remember at the brewery, but there is a nice maltiness there. The beer is soft-bodied, with a very light sweetness. The malt is bread like, one of the darker types (rye bread, duh). Very drinkable session beer and comes across very British like a bitter or British PA.
