I am not one for wheat beers, but can respect most of them as being solid brews, but this one just wasn’t. The wheat character was very strange and not refreshing. Don’t know how to describe it other than, there a simply much better wheats out there. Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bourbon House in Nola. Hazy gold color with white head. Nose is very malty for a wheat ale. Flavor is not as malty as I expected. A bit spiced, but not overly so...also a nutty flavor. RSRIZZO (1367), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Carbonation is bubbly but no head develops. Aroma is a mildly sweet grain scent. Taste is light and crisp. It starts with a light body that goes down crisp. Finish is sweet with a wheat like grain taste then a coriander and hop spice comes in ending with a hint of bitterness. Overall its not bad but not a style I like.
