Commercial Description:
A pale ale with a touch of amber malt. This ale is all about the hops. If you consider yourself a hop-head then this is the beer for you. With three different hop varieties we think you’ll enjoy the flavor that fills the glass first and your nose second.

A truy enjoyable APA. Slighty watery, but very refreshing and tasty. I would drink regularly. On tap at Gulfport airport.

I’m with the review that refers to the "Lazy Magnolia after-taste." The beer seems decent (but no real wow factor) but it tastes to me like the draft lines need some cleaning--I don’t think it’s yeast as pojo thinks, but an undesirable bacteria. A little more attention to the cleaning and this might be a solid Pale.

Draft at Keg and Barrel in Hattiesburg. Beer was a nice pale-gold color with minimal head. Pretty good aroma of hops. Well balanced flavor of malt and hops with a bit of biscuit thrown in for good measure. My only real criticism is what I term the "Lazy Magnolia after-taste." It must be the yeast because all of their beers have a similar after-taste that is sometimes more pronounced than at other times. It is the one thing that keeps me from enjoying their beers as much as I used to.

Wow! I’ve been wanting to sample this since this spring but haven’t been able to until today. I had a pint at the Mellow Mushroom at Dogwood Festival. The bartender broke my heart when he poured the head off and topped off the pint - I wanted to strangle him. The glass was entirely to cold, just like BiggMike describes but I didn’t have time for a second glass so I waited a bit and tried to warm it with my hands. Even frosty cold the wonderfuly citrusy hop aroma was strong enough to smell. The beer had a beautiful light copper color with a nice head - it shrank a good bit but was able to retain a small bit of foam until the last swallow. Very nice hop flavor - not too bitter with a nice citrus finish. It really filled my mouth and was very drinkable. This may be my favorite pale ale so far and really puts the heat on the Southern Pecan and Indian Summer. I can’t wait til the Jeff. Stout comes out later this winter - now to see if I can find a pig of this before it goes out of season!

Beef O’Bradys on tap in D’Iberville, MS. Waitress made me sample it before ordering one, because most people found that it had too much of an aftertaste. Actually, it was flavorful, unlike American macrobrew swill. They served it too cold the first time, so the second I had them pour in the same glass rather than another ice-cold one. Much better 2nd time around. Hoppy and aromatic. I liked it.

On tap at High Cotton in Gulfport, MS. Pours sunset coppery orange with a medium foamy white head, good retention and some spotty lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malt (grain, meal), yeast (sweat, dough), floral and pine, citrus hops. Moderately bitter and acidic hops, malt and yeast body with a tart citrus end. Light bodied, fizzy and dry palate.

Tap at Keg and Barrel in Hattiesburg Ms: This is a seasonal beer that just came out from Lazy Mag. This is an american pale ale. Nice hop and floral smell. Very small to almost no head. Taste of hops, but very watery. I found that much of there beers are watery tasting. There is just something missing in this beer. Not sure what it is. This is a better beer from Lazy Magnolia though. I think if Mississippi ever gets past the 6%abv law, micro breweries will be able to produce much better beer. JUst my thoughts. Thanks to the fine people at K&B for this beer
