Appropriately named, Reb Ale is a Wheat Pale Ale, the only one of its kind and the latest creation of Owner/Brewster Leslie Henderson. Reb Ale is Lazy Magnolia’s "Deep South Pale Ale," a crisp and clean beer with the perfect balance of hops and malt. Its body and clean finish are ideally suited for all seasons, and the brew is dry-hopped for a great aroma and impressive finish. And don’t look beyond the Oxford area to try a pint! Reb Ale was created especially for, and only for, Oxford, Mississippi.

Pours deep clear gold with no head. The aroma is apple, sweet malts and winter spices. The taste has spices pushing into mild grainy to faint roasty malts. It ends with some roast. The taste seems much different than the nose.

12oz bottle courtesy of TheCheeseMan – thanks Daniel! Pours an overly carbonated hazy gold with a huge 4 finger foamy white head. The nose is wheat, grassy hops and malt. The taste is malt, grain and light citrus hops in the finish. An ok pale.

12oz bottle 5/20/09 (Courtesy of garmonbozia)-Pours a golden body with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of wheat, hops, and malt. Taste of the same with some caramel and finishes dry. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad and definitely different.
