Very light bodied. Not much flavor either. A basic Golden Ale/Blond Ale. Some sweet malt balanced with a mild bitterness. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA May 29, 2009 Light amber with a thin white head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor is malty with a touch of honey. Smooth on the palate with a light, clean finish. Nice. mtrain237 (3), Florida, USA does not count Mar 29, 2009 This brewery has another winner in my eyes. Very smooth ale. Slightly sweet, goes down great. Slight citrus hints. Easy to drink, especially on a nice sunny day. Would pair this with any grilled white meat or fish. It would even be great to cook with. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Mar 12, 2009 Monday night draft special at the Nook a few weeks ago. Hazy light amber in the glass with a creamy off-white head that had some lasting and left good lacing. Malt aroma with a honey background. Sweet malt aroma with hints of honey and rye in the finish. Medium body that is sweet upfront and a slight bitter ending. Light metallic background in the flavor. Theis (3617), Denmark Nov 17, 2008 Draught at GABF 2008. Clear golden - offwhite head. Straw, hay, grainy, light honey, sweetness, nice clean - high drinkability. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Oct 28, 2008 This Lazy Magnolia offering is only available in Hattiesburg, MS, home of the University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, hence the name. Pours a yellow/gold color with decent head that dissipated fairly quickly. Smell was somewhat faint, but malty. Taste was malty sweetness. It is light in body and nice for a hot Mississippi day.
garmonbozia (225), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Jan 18, 2008 Tap and Sidelines Sports Cafe, Hattiesburg MS. Pours a nice clear color with a orange hue. Smell was somewhat faint, but I did notice a sweetness. Mouthfeel was not too light, but a smooth with a medium bodied. Taste was of malt and sweetness, maybe from the honey. I find that most of their beers have the same sweetness to it. Not much lacing to speak of, but a wonderful beer for an afternoon or maybe a bit before. I enjoyed this beer very much, actually more than the others. Nice beer.
