| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Bottle. Dark, clear, maroon color that looks a bit red held up the light. Leaves a sliver of white head on top, minimal lacing. Pleasant nutty aroma with some brown sugar. Flavors are sweet, nutty, maple syrup, caramel. I’m not normally a big fan of these nut infused beers, but I really liked this one. The nuts don’t overwhelm what seems to be a nicely built brown ale base. jjuf1853 (480), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 19, 2009 this beer has a lot of character, I can taste dark malts and the bitterness from the pecans itself at the end of the sip. malts are nice with little to no hops. very good. nick76 (2678), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2009 The aroma is sweet and caramel like with pecans. The appearance is deep amber with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma with a nice toasted nut and butter finish. The palate is smooth but thin. Overall a very good beer. yngwie (5000), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Bottle. It’s an orange-brown, almost clear beer with a creamy, beige head. Weak nose, mostly malty, and rather boring. The flavor is sweet and malty, with a tiny hint of sourness and some nutty flavors. Medium body, slightly acidic. The finish is roasted with some bitterness. An easy drinkable beer, but rather boring. Would like more flavor in it, but that would maybe hide all of the pecans. No head. on the pour, nutbrown/redish hue. Bunch of crap really. Did not taste any pecan, just some fake flavouring...like they added some vanilla to it or something. I would have poured it out had I had a drain to pour it in.
