illinismitty (1456), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jun 5, 2008 Bottle from Brentfeesh. Thanks! Pours a very nice deep mahogany with red hues and a beige head. Very nice aroma of maple, caramelly malts, cookie dough, and nuts. Medium light bodied with a thin texture. Flavor of nuts, caramel, and tobacco with a hint of fruit. There is decent amount of residual sweetness. The pecans really come through on the finish when it’s right out of the fridge, but the astringency shows up as well. All cellar temp (which I prefer on this one), the finish is semi dry with flavors of husky grains with no astringency. Not too bad. A little more body would make this even better.
