zvikar (410), Tel-Aviv, Israel Oct 5, 2009 From tap in milan, yellowish liquid with a huge white head, aroma of malt, herbs, vanilla and cheesy notes, flavor is bitter-sweet with some marmalade, lavender and a pleasant bitter finish, medium body, nice brew. mj (4967), Colorado, USA Sep 29, 2009 75cl bottle. Unfiltered hazed honey colored body with a fine-bubbled off-white head. Nose of pineapple cake from the tropical/citrus hops and the cake-like bready malts, awesome. Unique and new, this beer like most Baladin does not fit in with any defined style, but is something new and interesting and stands alone. I am quickly falling in love with Baladin who has rejuvenated my once-stagnant interest in artisan beer thanks to their perfectly executed experimental recipes. The yeast character and structure of this beer are divine. Lovely throughout. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Sep 25, 2009 Bottle 75cl. Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, orange, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, and a peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Vry nice hop aroma, fruity but also harmonious, with oranges and flowers. The body is less malty than expected, nevertheless the mouthfeel is smooth, and it has a good hopping. A well balanced IPA.
