Gout de cafe froid, de chocolat mi-sucrer (ou mi-amer...). Bon corps. Tres bonne. Cold coffee and semi-sweet chocolate taste. Good body. Very good.

Sampled at Mondial 2006. Supposedly has both vanilla and chocolate. The body was black with a light orange colored head. Coffee and dark chocolate aroma with some dry raspberries. The taste was coffee with some grapefruit hops in the back end. A thin body.

Roasted malts and chocolate with notes of licorice in the agreeable aroma. Opaque black body is topped by a decent, fine-bubbled brown head that lasts nicely and coats the glass. Roasted malts interplay with expansive bittersweet chocolate flavours. Medium body fills the mouth. Fairly low carbonation and creamy texture work to great advantage in this one. Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.

Nice expresso nose. The dark rich malt comes out nicely, bitterness not overdone, very nice mouthfeel (Oct. 13 2003 : 8-4-7-4-16) Dark black ale with moka head. Faint aroma of roasted malts. Good roasted coffee taste with lactic notes. Very short in mouth but fairly good bodied. Pleasnt Porter (Dec.1 04: 6-4-7-4-14)
