(Rating #1901) rederic (1444), montréal, Quebec, Canada Aug 18, 2006 Hazy amber hue, with a thick beige head, caramelized malt, toffeeish accent, sweet fruity note of raisins, dates, plums, toasty malty in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasted malt, sweet barley malt, grainy, toffee, hint of fruitiness, leading towards a malty and lingering hops bitterness finish. Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 1, 2005 A hazy amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is very lightly peachy. The flavor is "a lot more powerful" with some notes of caramel and citrus on a slightly sour back ground. Nothing special. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 28, 2005 Light orange, lasting off-white head. Slightly hoppy, orangey and fruit zest flavors mostly. Decent flavors of orange, faint earthiness, good malt-hops balance. Creamy texture, watery palate, airy in nature. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 19, 2005 Low, lightly fruity, caramel malt aroma. Clear amber-brown with a fine-bubbled cover of off-white head that lasts well and laces. Caramel malts are offset by fair bitterness. Medium-light body with fairly strong carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.
