Glouglouburp (1943), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Oct 25, 2006 Draught at Mascouche Oktoberfest. Clear golden-orange with a large off-white head. Refreshing but not very tasty, soapy with floral hops in tasteless cereals. Short and sharp bitterness. Inappropriate astringency. Centaur Extra Special Boring. LadySusan (370), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada Sep 24, 2006 Sampled at Bieres et Saveurs, this golden amber colored beer, has the aroma of malt. The taste is of caramel and fruits. Very little bitterness, yhere was just something missing. tiggmtl (4181), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 18, 2006 Somewhat grainy malt presence in the nose along with earthy and floral hops. Clear, copper coloured body is topped by a low, off white head that recedes to ring with some lacing. Malt forward flavour has plenty of earthy, floral (Goldings?) hop character and fair finishing bitterness. Moderate carbonation to the medium body. Sampled at Mondial 2006. Nekronos (1901), Xalapa, Mexico Sep 16, 2006 VEry sweet, it is not like other bitters I have had before. The sensation is bitter though. VEyr good foam too. red éric (1382), montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 13, 2006 Sampled at Bières et Saveurs Festival, amber color, with an off-white head, toasted malt nose, with a toffee accent, cookie dough, hint of nuttiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice toasty malt character, with a toffeeish note, bready dough, flowery hops grassiness, leading towards a floral hops bittering finish.
