17/06/08 Fût Froide Rating#18 Ambrée caramel. Arômes trèèèèèès faible à peine decelable... Corps moyen, effervescence nulle, légèrement soyeuse saveurs très, très faible de malt caramel.....

My Bottom Line:
This personable ESB procures earthy, floral hoppiness across comfy caramel maltiness in a serene and ever-so drinkable mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the clear dark copper with orangey hues.
-Just like the Galère (their pale ale), this will surely be very good on cask (coming up soon, hopefully!)
-That caramel maltiness swerves into butterscotch territory, especially in the nose.
-All is balanced throughout.
-Hops provide a little bitterness, but nothing too intense.
