17/06/08 Fût 5oz Froide Rating#16 Jaune paille complètement trouble, col faible: mince anneau sans effervescence. Arômes d’agrumes de gingenmbre et de banane. Corps mince, effervescence faible. Saveurs faible de blé et d’agrumes avec une touche de banane. Finale de gingembre sec. Potentiel mais ordinaire.

My Bottom Line:
Freshly-sliced ginger is overrun by milky yeast in this lightly citrusy and mostly muddled Witbier.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam oversees the opaque yellow-beige.
-The body is healthy and softly carbonated, like in all of their beers.
-Ginger is able to shine in the nose, but is really swamped by the yeast in the flavor profile.
-The finish is quite yeasty as well, even becoming lightly astringent.
-This is from the 1st brewed batch, so I guess it can only improve.
