I really don’t like this beer. Hazy gold with a scummy white head. Aroma has sulphur and a mixture of aniseed and toothpaste. Taste is oddly minty with some cinnamon. There used to be a brand of chewing gum a bit like this. Then there’s a rather grim wet dog bitter finish. The various flavours and aromas work against each other rather than together and the result is an unlovely and random chaos.

Bottle 25 cl. Last thuersday. (Bought @ Geers) Hazy blond color; good creamy head, persistent. Aroma sweet and bit herbal. Medium body. Taste = an excellent Triple, round mouthfeel, light sweetness, complemented by a bitter taste touch; very light herbs and sour wood. Spicy character.

Bottled. Hazy pale orange colour with a fluffy white foam. Yeasty and sweet aroms of mild spices, cinnamon, white bread, metal and orange-liqour with vegetal undertones. Sweet and yeasty flavour of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), and orangemarmelade, hay and anise. Dryish undertones of wheat and coriander. Sweet orangey finish with spicy and buttery undertones. Really interesting little ale!

bottle at london drinker 07. Pretty bright honey colour with faomy white head. Smells exactly like wildflower honey. Exactly. It’s perfect! Taste is spicy w/ definite honey and floral hints and even a bit of citrus. Really lovely stuff.

A Sim rate (Bottle at Bier Circus): Very sweet honey aroma. Bit wheaty, slightly citric. Flavour is personally too sweet. Not much more than honey. Tart, wheaty, honey finish. Not the best honey beer ever, but nice enough.

Bottle @ Chemsford BF06: Golden, simple honey. Nice citric notes. Clean in flavour for a honey beer. Not bad.

Hazy golden with a medium, foamy head. Acidic, lemony aroma with some sweetish caramel. Sweetish, very acidic flavor with honey, wheaty fruitiness and sour lemon, plus some alcohol. Acidic, light to medium-bodied, very foamy-carbonated palate. Not the most balanced or interesting brew - but no disaster, either. Too acidic for my tastebuds.
