Commercial Description:
Formerly known as Blind Pig Dunkel Weizen

This is a medium-bodied, unfiltered dark wheat beer with a smooth, gently sweet character. The flavor has notes of chocolate and caramel combined with the cereal malt flavor contributed by malted wheat. Blind Pig is a very unique beer with few other examples of the German Dunkel Weizen style brewed in the Northwest, and certainly none as tasty.

12 oz bottle thanks to BrewDad. Pours a dark brown almost purple hue with a medium white head. The aroma is toasted malts, nutty and light fruit. The flavor is basically a battle between chocolates, toasted malts, dark fruit. Easygoing and light. Nice.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours very dark amber with not much of a head. Smells bready. Near medium body with mild, frothy carbonation. Flavor is kind of chocolate over darkly roasted malt - not burnt though. Hasn’t got much malt sweetness. Clean. Finishes with chocolate.
