| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Smells biscuity and warm. Reminds me of breakfast. Pours a dark woodsy color. Deep brown with some red when you hold it in the light. I feel like there are a lot of flavors involved, but they’re subtle. A little chocolate, a little caramel, a little toast. Coats the palate pretty well and sticks around longer than expected. This is my first dunkelweizen so I’m not sure I’m worried about the lack of yeast everyone is talking about, though I see how that could bring this beer to another level. presario (3001), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
