| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 14, 2009 12-oz. bottle. Appears to be either an alias or a re-name of their existing altbier, except with more Marshall Mathers flavoring. Two altbiers for one PNW brewery just seems like too many, anyway. Pours a murky dark brown with a wispy and very trnasient grayish head. Zzzz. Big earthy, slightly peppery, wet-leaf-y nose. Bold! Light watery body. Earth, wet leavess, a little toast on the mid-palate, dryingly roasty finish. Seems to pick up some iced tea in there somewhere along the way, but not too much; definitely not out of balance with it. Really a nice clean, drinkable effort. fakepurseninja (788), Washington, USA

Nice aromas of corn/oat/cereal a wee bit of toast.
Semis sweet creamy malty taste, at first then dissapates and becomes a tad more bitter,nutty..hazel nuts.
Realativly thin mouthfeel about it, but does have its moments.
A nice simple beer, OK. HighWine (167), , California, USA
