Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 6, 2008 On tap at Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a golden (slightly amber) body with a medium white head. Zesty, crisp and sessionable. Nothing special, but a great summer beer to kick back with. Mild bready quality that bites with Euro hops in the finish. Eh. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Oct 3, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty slightly bready grainy aroma. Malty bready flavor wit hsome hoppy hints. Has a malty grainy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. OldMrCrow (1179), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 28, 2008 Tap at the Mont Lake Alehouse.
Pours a thin amber with little head. Nice fruity aroma (apple) and malt-forward, robust in its grains. Crisp hops never overpower those warm grains - this feels as if it’s pushing amber territory in some ways - but the beer has an enjoyable snap to the finish nonetheless, and certainly drinks smoothly.
Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Mar 27, 2008 Deep gold colour with light sparkle and a thin head. Herbal hop nose has a light grassiness and thin baguettey malts underpinning. Crisp, moderate bitterness with light caramel accent to the bready pale malts. Not bad, not bad. I like a pils to have a little more of either punch or nuance but this is perfectly acceptable. Draught, Anthony’s in SeaTac Airporterl BeerZack (116), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 23, 2008 On tap@ Bailey’s Taproom (Portland)
Deep golden orange color with great white head that laces quite well.
Very spicy and hoppy, saison-like aroma; with floral and grassy notes, some graininess.
Good malty body with touch of sugar-like sweetness up front that’s effortlessly balanced by a very floral bitter hop finish.
Soft and smooth mouthfeel despite strong carbonation. Great domestic Pils! jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 13, 2007 on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is mild grain, grassy hops. Taste is grain, grassy hops, some light fruit-clean, crisp. OK carbonation. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Oct 19, 2007 Tap - Fish Brewery - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Light malt, with some hops. A typical pils.
Appearance – Golden in color, clear, with a nice head
Flavor – This was a light ale with a good overall lawnmower style taste. No hops to really taste.
Palate – Dry in the finish crisp and easy to drink
Overall –Served in the correct glass way to go FISH. I thought it was a easy lawnmower beer. Not bad good for those looking for a good beer and something cold, yellow and wet.
