after4ever (1710), Brier, Washington, USA Apr 5, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. This beer is most certainly not retired, as the keg they were tapped from this afternoon was most definitely not aged. Crystal clear dark amber with very little gray rim. Slightly floral, maybe berry-like nose. Medium body, lively carb. Biscuity, toasty mid-palate. Nice resiny finish. DA (2389), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Mar 24, 2005 On tap at the Sunnyside Mcmenamins as a guest tap. This esb was very smokey, really clashed against the hops and light fruity malts up front. Pours a darker copper with a fast falling off-white head. I’m just not a fan of the smoked flavor in this brew. acrdz (4283), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 15, 2004 Red with a solid white head. Very smooth and creamy until a woody charred flavor emerges, cherries and burnt wood in the finish. Quite good. argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Jul 24, 2004 (RBSG04) Clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/peach/nectarine, floral. Taste is medium sweet, fruity (orange, peach, melon), earthy, floral. Watery medium body, chalky finish. Volgon (2458), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 22, 2004 RBSG 2004: Earthy lemon aroma floating out of a clear orange body with a small white head. Lightly bitter with a medium body.
