DruncanVeasey (1633), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Apr 1, 2008 Cask, Charters, Peterborough. Something like an English Boho Pils. Pale, shining clarity with lace curtains. Buttery vanilla malt and mellow noble hops. Floral, sickly and surprising at first, but really won me over. A well-executed, tasty ale. albertane (277), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England Mar 15, 2008 Cask at Out of the Vaults, Leicester. This pale golden beer has a perfumy floral aroma and a somewhat thin flavour which is too soapy for my liking. That said, I drank this after some very powerfully-flavoured beers; I might prefer it if I had it separately or earlier in a session.
