Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 23, 2009 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is acidic with notes of oak and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of wood, medium notes of brettanomyces, and light notes of fruit and vanilla, leading to a dry and tart finish. The brettanomyces scratches the tongue. Thanks yespr for sharing. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 17, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours hazy and almost opaque with a dense and creamy off-white head leaving some lacework. Tart, Brettish aroma. Hazy deep orangeish coppery colour with mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is lots of fruityness, some burnt sugar, mild oaked notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild sourness lurking as well. Quite interesting brew, and surprisingly "thick and fullpalated" for being 5.5%. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 4, 2009 Bottle.
