| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2009 330 ml Bottle. Horizontal tasting with Leffe blond. Slightly cloudy golden color. Leffe has big bubbles and a very clear golden appearance.
Floreffe has a more lively head, both in retention and lacing. While Leffe has distinct fruity banana, biscuity malty accent, Floreffe seems a bit
moderate on the nose with grainy and peppery scent. Leffe is almost cloying sweet compared to Floreffe. Leffe is mainly fruity with banana and clove character with harsh corny overtones with overcarbonated texture. Floreffe is very smooth bodied with green apple, bready and grainy feel with short, slightly peppery finish. Leffe is InBev, Floreffe is moderate, but well-crafted beer.

Smell and taste were average and not anything to write home about. The honest thing is that this will rate higher than any kolsch I’ve had today in Koln. OleR (2108), Oslo, Norway

Pale clear golden. A very moderat and thin aroma. Just little sweet marlelade. The flavor is unexpectedly anonymous. nickd717 (1392), Palo Alto, California, USA
