White large foamy full lsting head. Amber colour. Aroma is malty with spicy and prunes notes. Flavor is moderately malty with light fruity and caramel tones, ending in a moderately malty, grainy finish. Light to medium bodied.

330 ml Bottle. Horizontal tasting with Leffe blond. Slightly cloudy golden color. Leffe has big bubbles and a very clear golden appearance. Floreffe has a more lively head, both in retention and lacing. While Leffe has distinct fruity banana, biscuity malty accent, Floreffe seems a bit moderate on the nose with grainy and peppery scent. Leffe is almost cloying sweet compared to Floreffe. Leffe is mainly fruity with banana and clove character with harsh corny overtones with overcarbonated texture. Floreffe is very smooth bodied with green apple, bready and grainy feel with short, slightly peppery finish. Leffe is InBev, Floreffe is moderate, but well-crafted beer.

This blonde was drinkable but not the best. A bit astringent. Smell and taste were average and not anything to write home about. The honest thing is that this will rate higher than any kolsch I’ve had today in Koln.

0.33 L bottle@Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brilliant gold colored with an orangey hue. Stable, fingerthick white head. Moderate aroma of yeast and sugary, light caramellish malts. Medium sweet, quite perfumed malt flavor, a faint fruitiness and notes of mild spices and yeast. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Short, fruity finish.

330ml bottle. Tanks Pete! Pale clear golden. A very moderat and thin aroma. Just little sweet marlelade. The flavor is unexpectedly anonymous.

On tap (van ’t vat) at De Groote Witte Arend in Antwerpen. Decent Belgian blond. Clear golden color with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, mildly sweet, with Belgian yeast. Flavor is pale malt, some yeast, light fruits and hops. Good but nothing special.

Flaske: Klassisk belgisk blonde, filtreret med en fin diskret duft. God smag og et godt bid til sidst. Dejlig let řl.
