33 cL bottle. Pours dark murky brown with huge creamy light brown to slight grey head. Vague aroma, slight malty roasted with some minor fruity yeast notes. Sweet malty flavour with fruity yeast notes. Softly lingering into a slight bitter finish.

Bottled(330ml). -Reddish pale brown coloured, small off-white head, discreet malty nose. Light roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits with notes of chocolate and nuts. Also few licorice hints. Mild alcoholic rather dry finish. St Feuillien Brune is much better but this is still good abbey dubbel.

Bottle. Large beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark cola like color. (it was compared with a cola). Aroma was quit lovely with notes of fruit, caramelized, yeast, hint of sweet liquorish, mild toasted malt and what could appear as sweet chocolate. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor. Lingering sweet fruity caramelized finish.
