750ml bottle, thanks Eugene! Aroma of light fruits and some lightly kilned malt and a hint of candi sugar. Taste is sweet and malty up front followed by vanilla, light fruits (pears/apples) and white pepper. The finish is lingering white pepper spiciness, some light fruitiness and a balance favoring sweetness slightly. Enjoyable.

Pours a hazy copper color with a thick, foamy, white head with good retention. Aroma of banana, honey, fresh bread, and some other fruits but also a slight hint of acidity. Very nice complex taste that starts off mostly sweet and then slowly adds some lingering bitterness for a great finish. Very lively carbonation.

Bottle from Ohtsuki. Light amber color with a medium, thick head. Aroma of dusty green apples and lemons, plus a touch of honey and biscuit malts. Very fruity and complex. Some dark fruits as well. Flavor includes much caramel, apples, green and ripe, and some citrus. Honey too. Finish mixes sour and bitter elements, with decent hopping for the style and a long-lasting but calm bitterness. All right. Decently complex tripel.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky apricot color with a large foamy yellow-white head. The aroma was tart, tangy, and yeasty with notes of citrus and pair. The flavor was full of sugar with a yeasty element and a touch of mustiness. Underneath that is a base of candied pears, caramel apples and apricots. The finish was long, sugary and fruity. Full bodied.

Very, thick foamy head. some fruit in the nose as well as in the initial taste. a bit of lingering alcohol. no where near the best Belgian or even tripel I’ve had, but still a solid offering
