pilsnerrogge (1609), Finspång, Sweden Oct 4, 2006 [33 cl bottle] Deep golden with a slight haze. Big creamy head. Fruity citrus aroma. Fruity, yeasty flavour. Salty, zesty citrus bitterness.
heemer77 (3752), Savannah, Missouri, USA Sep 17, 2008 From a 330ml bottle. The body is dark gold with some orange in it. The large foamy head was lightly offwhite and yellowish. The aroma had lots of fresh bread dough with some dried cherries. The taste was bread dough with some strong raisins in the finish. There was also a lightly floral related note. This is a big beer, but the alcohol is well hidden and the body was only slightly viscous. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 8, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear gold, thin off white head. Sweetish syrupy aroma. It’s a pretty restrained tripel. Some decent tripel fruit. Bit over carbonated. It’s as I say, a quite restrained tripel, no great character. But fine. Some decent sweetish fruit. Pershing (113), Garland, Texas, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bright cloudy orange with a medium size head that lingers around. Fruit and spice aroma. Very sweet taste, probably the result of unfermented cane sugar. (Ale Brewed with Cane Sugar) stated on the label. Eyedrinkale (3109), Beer Town, New York, USA Aug 31, 2008 33 cl bottle. Dense white head on top of a golden brown body.Aroma is equally spicy and fruity with coriander and pear, apple yeastiness. A bit phenolic with some bubblegum and a decent hop bite. Not up there with the good ones. Fresh, it’s a bit "hot" even though it’s only 7.5%. Flamojune (46), Québec, Quebec, Canada Aug 25, 2008 Manque un peu de gout pour une triple...On pourrait dire une triple légere.
