Blanche de Bruxelles on tap at the Belgian Cafe in Philly, very enjoyable on an early spring day cloudy light straw yellow hue with white foamy head, light, hints of wheat, lemon faint spice but not much, light and refereshing would love to have during the nicer weather and don’t typically love the style.

Aug 21, 2008 11.2 oz bottle, labeled as Blanche de Bruxelles. Hazed yellow with a decent white head. Strong sweet lemon nose, a hint of coriander and a shadow of the wheat below. Weak, watery body. Lemon and dry wheat, finish is non-existent. Nice lace, but ultimately not a very good beer.

Aug 20, 2008 Mildly tart, citrusy nose with contrasting aromas of sweet bread and ripe bananas. That same citrusy tartness hits the palate first with mild acidity, but is soon equaled and then pushed aside by the sweet, banana pudding flavor and background breadiness

Aug 20, 2008 Pours a cloudy, hazey off white colour with a medium sized beige head. Aroma is fruity, wheaty with hint of bannana, cloves and fresh apples. Mouthfeel is light, sort of watery and flavor is a little off, noticeable orange and coriander taste. I expected more from a Wit brewed in Belgium. Subpar brew.

Aug 19, 2008 Poured from tap a hazy straw color with a very thin white head. Aroma is sweet-sour with a bit of yeast. Flavor is a perfumy sweet and tart that makes it cidery with corriander, white pepper, not much carbonation, and a citrusy twinge. There is more astringent tart that sweet which I found made it hard to drink and enjoy. Overall, I am not a fan and will not be drinking this one again.

Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. Hazy pale yellow, dense white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, wheat/dough. Flavour is citrus, yeast, ripe fruit. Expected more of this. Not bad though.
