Gary__ (94), London, Greater London, England Aug 26, 2008 750ml Corked bottle with silly blue paper .Drank from a Leffe goblet ., When ever you sink, drink, or chug a Leffe product, you can expect to recive a pretty decent goblet of plonk , kinda tame too. :The whole fake abbey thing is humorous. How many monks really work at InBev?.Leffe 9 is not complex, but is more so than most of their jolly ass beverages . . Leffe 9 resembles mud, covered in thin ass cream. Sippin ’on this juice I got...a gritty muddy caramelly like sweetness .A bunch of Creamy ,spicy aromatic tangz. I can think of 100 other Belgian beers i’d rather pass out drinking but its a nice drink regardless. Clear copper amber colour, disappearing white head. Aroma of fruits and alcohol. Flavour is sweet, fruity, with a nice alcohol warming bitter finish. Alcohol sticks on your tongue. Very nice strong ale. beer_ledgend (796), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Aug 11, 2008 Bright orange/red in colour with huge fluffy white head. Yeasty bready aroma. Big yeasty flavours which hides the alcohol. Short bitterness. BeerBlitz (47), Roslyn, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 4, 2008 Bottle. Gift from a friend that recently drank his way through Belgium. Moderate bread aroma with some alcohol. Fair amount of frothy white head that really lasted. Clear sparkling golden color. Tastes were acetic, bitter, and a good amount of pepper. Dry finish.
