A middle of the road Belgian ale. Sweet and malty with slight yeasty spice. Not bad.

Bottle at the wombat: Amber colour with off-white head. Taste is nice bitter/sweet and malty. I think this is one of the best Leffe beers.

Very clear, dark yellow color. Quickly dissipating white, frothy head. Aroma of sweet flowers, grass, peaches. Very full bodied and fizzy carbonation. Quite sharp flavour, definitely with character, although not my character. Somewhat as if they just added some extra alcohol to Leffe Blond. But can’t really pin it down why I don’t like it.

10-OCT-2009, bottle @home. Clear golden with nice head. Nice blond nose. Maybe a bit stronger than the the regular blonde, but it is all there. All the good yeasty blonde stuff. Nice beer.

Bottled sample via lubiere. Copper in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Strong aromas of ripe, pitted fruits, caramel, spicy yeast, black pepper, coriander, and booze. Caramel takes centre stage in the mouth, along with elements of red grapes, peach, demerara sugar, yeast, and earth. Starts off fairly sweet, heavy, and boozy in the mouth, but dries out a fair bit by the finish. Fairly good overall.
