olek (19), København N, Denmark Sep 11, 2006 Updated: Dec 25, 2006 Red-golden colour with a big foamy head, that disappears quickly though. Aroma is sweet with hints of apples, sugar and alcohol. Taste is very sweet with some bitterness at the end. Not a bad beer at all
ha1ag (252), Maastricht, Netherlands Jan 1, 2009 bottled from AH in Mestreech. Color is beautiful brass, with a bit orange foamy head, nice lacing, sour nose. Higher than average carbonation for its type. Sweet-sour aroma . Flavour sweet and sour with caramel and lots of alcohol. gam (679), brisbane, Australia Dec 28, 2008 Thin head to mild cover good carbonation in a copper coloured pour aroma fruity sweet malty clove flavour clove banana sultanas creaminess to the ale maltiness for sweetness finish bitter sweet fairly dry good. hallinghansen (62), Odense SV, Denmark Dec 20, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden body, small white head. A nice fruity beer and sweet beer with a well hidden alcohol. Very tasty. Bontus (132), Gent, Belgium Dec 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden. One of the worst beers ever for me. Alcohol omnipresent. Lack of aromas and flavors unbalanced. tasted like rotten grainsyrup. Straling (114), Amstenrade, Netherlands Dec 13, 2008 Bottle 33cl.
Pours a clear orange colour with a great size lasting head and brilliant carbonation.
Smell is rather orangy and like a tangerine with a bit of the alcohol in the scent too.
Taste is about the same but is overwhelmed by the alcohol, too bad because the rest of the beer is very nice but the alcohol is just too present in the taste.
