Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Not the best belgian that i have had, but still not terrible. Light in color and not as cloudy as I like it. Good semi-sweet flavor but not enough belgian funk.

11.2 oz. Golden yellow hue with a nice white head. Great aroma and crisp tasting. Alcohol not noticeable. Leaves a crisp aftertaste. Nice lacing on the glass.

Bottle. Not a big fan of this one. Pours a bright golden color. Aroma is spices and yeast. Flavor is pepper, citrus, and spices. Very light carbonation. Smooth on the palate. Ok beer

Poured golden with a thick, white, four-fingered head. Aroma was spicy and bready, the flavor was spicy with notes of pepper, vanilla and corriander. There was little to no hoppiness, a slight bitterness and what seemed to be a slight skunkiness. A good example of the style.

Hints of fruit. VERY GOOD BLONDE! Good flavor, but not particularly flavorful. Not a whole lot of flavor to stick around on the palate.

Bottle. Golden. White head. Nose of sweet malt and honey. An easy-to-drink beer. Sweet. Malt. Small hint of hops in aftertaste. The body is a little to thin.

2/1/09 - Pours effervescent honey-golden with foamy, white head, dissipates to filmy white. Nose is candy and bubblegum, mild spice, coriander and clove. Medium to full body, good carb. Fruity and bready with mild spice, rather light with moderately dry finish. Some honey notes. A very nice, light, drinkable beer.

Pours a soft, sedimentary/effervescent-laden golden yellow body... beautiful white head leaves picturesque lacing seen only in internet photos--an especially good bottle? Soft hoppy scents that invite without agitation--a slightly off-color scent warms its way in late... light, almost fizzy presentation--effervescent as expected, nutty at the teeth...citrus flavoring takes its lead with a fresh bit of bread at points(!)... crisp and short with little aftertaste.... the understanding that InBev sells this makes an unbiased review difficult--an above-average Belgian that minds its manners through it relatively low alcohol content and its swift presence in the mouth--I recall my first chalice at Avignon outside the gardes, and the experience was magical to me--this noncorked bottle still measures well with the more distinguished abbeys...
