Aroma is bright with fruitiness, light florals, yeast, and some spices. Tastes maltier than expected; some grassey hops and yeast. Sweet and smooth with a little more spiciness. Got this as a gift for Xmas, didn’t really expect much of it... As it turns out, I could see this as a terrific summer beer and perhaps even a summer staple. Grossecaisse (108), France

Palate is warm and crisply carbonated. Tasty. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA

More pleasant, tasty, flavorful than the Duvel I had moments earlier. Golden color, white head, hints of malt, citrus. Not too bitter, Smooth, enjoyable, worth the effort and would buy again. Have to say I disagree with other recent reviews. Duvel was not even close in any category. Cheers!
