Appearance throws me off. Taste very difficult for me to describe. Its just tastes like "beer" with a little bite to it. Easy to drink. ericandersnavy (1139), crossroads, Texas, USA

Musky banana aroma along with some peaches and sour dough.
Sweet candy fruit flavor, banana, peaches, apricot, and caramel. I also get some musky yeast flavor in the finish, sour even. Interesting.
Palate is full and sweet, a little sour but mellows into a caramel finish. hayduke (1674), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2008 On tap in Paris, France. This came in the proper labeled trappist glass a clear gold color and fat white head that left good lacing. Big nose of caramel malts with citrus hops, coriander, and cloves. Very smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is banana and citrus, and the finish is very lightly bitter and tasty. Good beer.
