Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a nice looking clear gold with white fizzy head. Nice aroma, some citris and I think a little bannana, and malt. Flavor much the same as aroma...nice....Mouthfeel is light body and high carbonation....Overall, this hides the alcohol well for what it is and is pretty tasty.....Would make a good session beer as well, except I think you would be wasted before you knew it.....Good stuff...

Bottle. Clear golden with good white head. Aroma is slightly citrus, slightly estery and pleasant. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Rich complex taste (malt, esters, banana) yet refreshing. Some bitterness in finish. Overall a well balanced beer: refreshing yet complex and quite rich.

Sweet and sickly with a nasty after taste of cloves. Really, I don’t know why this is so highly regarded. Each to his/her own, I suppose, but whether on draught or bottle it’s always had that horrible, back-of-the-throat, overpowering, clove nastiness. How can the people who produce this also produce the wonderful Brune? Still, it’ll never get minimum marks from me while Carlsberg’s being brewed...

Hazy gold body with moderate head. Spicy nose including cinnamon, cloves, banana, and slight citrus. Delivers strong abbaye taste - clove, dried fruit esp. apricot and banana, yeast, cinnamon, and lightly citrus. Sweet slightly dry finish.

Tasty abbey with a nice tall creamy head. Banana start leads to malty, fruity and alchoolic middle and firm fruity end. Good standard abbey.

Rich golden color with light white head. Sweet aroma with spices, yeast and dried fruit. Full bodied with a sweet flavor of light citrus and dried apricot.
