Such a great affordable beer. sweet and alluring spicy nose, anda sweeet palate that somehow manages to finish with a moorish tang, its hard to know if its hops of yeast flavours, but no matter very pleasant. At our recent summer beer tasting Leffe Blond was a real hit. The color in the glass is magical but the real threat is the aroma and palate combined with a killer finish. How do Belgium brewers make beer that looks "still" but when you taste it, it is like champagne! The may well be one of the world’s best beers (like Pilsner Urquell on tap AT the brewery!). Go get some. Guinnessman (89), VACAVILLE, California, USA

Finished off with a mild aftertaste and cleansed the palate fairly well. Went quite well with my tri-tip. sirPino (862), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland

Bottle brown, 330 ml
Appearance: Pours bright rubby, a bit orangy golden colour, carbonation of the body is quite intensive but looks more like a mild effervescence, head is very thick and frothy, creamy in colour, slightly off white ut amazingly long lasting head with firm lacing.
Aroma: Milky, grainy, slightly bready, reminding white, fresh baked bread, straight from the bakery, gentle aromatic, herbal hoppy nose, clean, milk, all in all mild aroma but inviting, hazelnut, wheat.
Flavour: Very smooth, creamy, quite easy going, alcohol is present though, some grainy and wheaty notes with a mild malty base, alcohol becomes present more when the beer gets warmer, there is some distinct and easy noticable hoppy bitterness on palate rounding the taste and aromatic herbal hoppy nose but all in all the taste is dominated by creamyness. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is oily to creamy, there is no accidity at all, no saltyness, rather towards creamyness and malty sweetness with some bitterness on palate, carbonation on palate is mild, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. To be true I was expecting something more accidic not that oily and alcohol was a bit too strong in taste especially in the end. There was not much yeastyness or grainy - bready pronounced taste. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland

Used to have a leffe glass until a friend broke it. I haven’t spoken to them since. durhambeer (1219), Durham, USA

Sweet and yeasty taste with some mild fruit present. A little sweet/malty for this style, but solid. Did me right today, hungover at 1:30 in the afternoon. Thanks, Jason! Sweet doughy aroma, very large creamy head with good staying power. Clear amber color. Flavor is moderately light and sweet, with a light bitter finish. Something vaguely medicinal with banana notes. mjs (1516), Helsinki, Finland
