The flavor and aroma are light, yet yeasty, almost banana/aplle like notes can be detected. The mouthfeel is a little on the syrupy side for my taste, but if it is served well chilled, this can be avoided. This is a great beach brew, and I’ve found it does better with a few days of cold storage before being drunk. Homer321 (127), Rockledge, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Golden amber color w/ a large slowly diminishing head. Aroma is attractive and slightly citrusy. Palate is thin, sugary, and quickly disappearing; aftertaste is very subtle. Above average carbonation leads to a acidic feeling. Very drinkable due to thin palate, but finishing this beer makes me want something more. This beer is maybe something good to drink w/ food or to start out with, but it definitely does not go where all of the places a good beer should go. gary07734 (408), Tyne & Wear, England
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 12, 2008 On tap, Newcastle area. On tap this is a much better beer than it’s bottled equivalent. The bottled version has a strong, dislikable metallic flavour. On tap it is more of the standard belgian hops and bitter flavour with a hint of the bottled metallic notes. Better, but not great compared to ’real’ belgian beer.
