Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

love the initial fizz, that quickly dissolves into a creamy, seductive, sweetness intent on enticing you to drink one more bottle. it has a plethora of tastes; i’m getting sherbet laced with clove without the liquorice dip from this particular pour. appearance wise, the colour is especially pleasing but the head teases you with its presence for mere seconds. like many, leffe and hoegaarden were my initial introductions to belgian beer about a decade ago at university. i’m dissappointed that people feel the need to knock this fine beverage now that it has become mainstream. its the same with music; and this strange brew at least plays a few amazing guitar licks. ’So what’ that some other tipples are technically better! most of us part-time beer quaffers owe it all to cheekies like this. keep it real. Pass the belgian on the leffe hand side.

Bottle in Belge. Nice golden colour. No head (too cold?). Soft maltiness. A mild hoppiness. Also some sweetness.

I can honestly say that this is a delicious beer that I could drink anytime. I have had this on draft and in bottle and it is outstanding either way.

A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with a big white foamed head. It disappears slowly. The aroma is hoppy, with fruity sweets, floral and mild bitterness. The taste of sweet fruits like orange. A nice bitterness of hop. In the aftertaste there is still the fruitnes.
