| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2009 A nice golden body with a small white nice forming but quickly fading foam. Altough there was way too much carbonation for what I like in a beer. The aroma was quite a nice one, with a nice barley matl feeling along with strong spicy tendencies (coriander dominating here), some nice clove here. The taste was not superb, it was quite watery, but came with good malt, spice flavors (mainly coriander), clove and even some nice plum, some banana and some nice apricot. The aftertaste got me going, and filled my mouth: fresh bitterness showing some hop and yeast to it, with little of the previously dominating coriander. Carbon dioxide came all along, did not the best to the this ale. Mouthfeel was OK, nothing much. And the beer is somewhat unbalanced to the sweet - but my guess is that there’s too much water flowing in the making. Nice beer. Aquilo (265), California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Perfectly clear golden amber color with a fluffy white head. Its a bit too clear to be real, I suspect that they may have filtered all the flavor out of it. Aroma has a bit of bottle stink, and under that, some banana and clove. Flavor is water, carbon dioxide, water, yeast, water, clove. Spicy finish. Not great. rlaw (47), USA

Aroma of sweet fruits, hops and bready yeast. Flaors of candy sugar, banana, and slight hop bitterness. Fairly dry finish. Overall a pretty good Belgian ale, especially for the price. stobbe74 (700), Denmark
