Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle. Pours a golden amber color with a nice small white fluffy head. Aroma of bready yeast and hops. Very pleasant on the palate, smooth and tasty. A very nice brew and one i would by a six of again.

A fine beer--on draught, otherwise it comes off rather watery, especially on the finish. Chimay is quite popular around here, but this has proven to be an excellent and welcome alternative. Excellent scent, and the length of flavor (on draught) is impressive. Creamy texture is almost naughty...fine, sweet clove/allspice/hop character.

Nice balanced blend of sweet and roasted notes, and of yeast and caramel; the flavors hit all parts of the tongue, all four of the basic tastes; a little heavy on the carbonation: a little "fizz" on the tongue; comes on strong at first, but by the time it hits the esophagus it’s approaching water

Clear yellow-gold with tall white head, fun to watch it grow to the top of the tulip glass. Drinks easily, mild touch of fruit flavour. Nothing bad, but nothing pulling me in either.

Citrus and coriander aroma with a light amount of roasted caramel. Clear golden color with a medium white head. Light malt beginning with a sweet mild grape finish. Light palate.

33cl bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Rated on 3/21/08. Pours a clear, golden yellow with thick and frothy white head. Reasonable head retention. Smells of coriander, spice, fresh flowers, bread, yeast. Flavor is slightly sweet with hints of honey, bread, grass. Light, somewhat watery mouthfeel with slight bitterness on finish.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 21 June 2008) Yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with toffee, butter, citrus, hay, grass and hints of spices. Malty, buttery taste with notes of dried fruit, citrus, banana and toffee. Medium body, with a disturbing sweetness, that isn’t really balanced by anything. Not really anything wrong with it, just a bit boring and way too sweet.

12oz bottle from The_Captain. Thanks Mark. Poured gold in color with an inch of white head into a Duvel tulip. Smells of fruity esters and very light spice. Initial strand of sweetness is washed over by coriander, clove, and cinnamon as the liquid moves to the back of your mouth. Finishes clean with a bit of lingering spice. This stuff is pretty good especially after seeing that it comes from InBev.
