Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Pours a pale orange-yellow with a white head. Aroma of malts and spices, especially cloves. Flavor is yeasty and spicy. Not bad.

Aroma: Yeast, some light malts (overall not strong). Appearance: Cloudy orange with a medium head that fades quickly leaving a thin layer behind. Taste: Notes of caramel, yeast, spice, banana. Palate: medium carbonation, medium body. Overall: I like the beer and would say it’s good despite my ratings because it has the "drinkabliity" factor. It’s not great by any means but it’s better than the average for sure.

Bottle. Pours a nice orangish gold with a big head. Aromas are not the strongest asset of this beer, though. A muddled mix of grass, skunky hops and maple syrup are all I can pick up. Flavor is borderline cloying with all the sticky maple syrup and a little bit of sweet orange fruit. Skunky hops and mild grass do come through, but don’t balance out the overly sweet malty notes.

Bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a fluffy white head that lasts a little while. Aroma is equal parts malty, sweet and funky. Flavour has notes of caramel, malt, yeast, spice, pineapple and banana. Very high carbonation detracts from the mouthfeel a little bit but otherwise this is a pretty nice beer. Nothing overly exciting but easy to drink and pleasant nonetheless.

I’ve seen this beer many times before but never purchased. Aroma of a tripel. Cloves, grape, and biscuit like flavors. Very much like a tripel with a lighter ABV. This is pretty solid. You could drink more of these and not have the buzz effects of a more powerful tripel style.

Tasted at Beer Dabbler event in St. Paul. I like this beer more than I probably should have. Maybe because I had been by a lot of local booths that just were not up to this kind of quality. I found this to be a nice, bright Belgian with a lot of holiday spice, some licorice and banana. Taste stay in your mouth the perfect amount of time, leaving you with the desire for another taste.

Deep gold colour with no head, sweet malt and bubblegum aroma, sweet strong bubbly malt taste and a slightly bitter aftertaste, I love it.

Poured clear and dark golden in color with a fizzy white head and a stream of upwardly mobile bubbles. The aroma was bread, yeast, malt and light citrus. The flavor was citrus, yeast and malts. Overly carbonation. Harsh mouthfeel. OK. Would make a good gateway brew.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours a near clear yellow golden with a nice white forthy head. Aroma is very estery, Belgian yeast up the wazoo, doughy, very triple like. Flavor follows exactly, the bottle is a bit less attenuated than when I had this in Belgium, doughy, sugary sweet, very estery, yeasty. I good drinker but I think I prefered this in Belgium when it seemed lighter.
