Commercial Description:
Filtered.
Uses vieux temps yeast which gives the clove-like flavour.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a 'connoisseur' beer that is easy to drink."

Pours a clear gold, with tons of carbonation and a thick, whity, frothy head. Aroma is of dried fruits and spices (cinnemon and cloves). Flavor is similar to the aroma, spicy with a balance towards the hoppy side, and a bit of a bite on the finish. Palate is smooth, and finishes dry, like a shot of bourbon. Overall an interesting, drinkable beer.

very close to the real thing, and the best non-trappist abbey style ale so far... Complex taste,,,, bananas, and citrus with honey and a medium hops and malt blend.

Sweet flowery hops with a hint of honey. Looks fizzy with a nice sized white head. Light caramel colour. Doen’t taste as fizzy as it looks it is sweet with a taste of alcohol.

Comes out of the tap a nice clear golden color, with a decent head. Aroma is strong and malty and has a decided lemony overtone. Flavor is malty and strongly of citrus, mainly lemon and nicely tart. Texture is smooth, and finish is refreshing and satisfying.

Bottle from Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary, AB. An aroma of fruity malts and strong yeast flavour. Taste is unbelievable and complex. Overall, another great Belgian Ale from a reputable brewery. Will drink again.

Bottle at MU SteakHouse. Served in the Leffe glass. Pretty strong typical Belgium aroma. A strong yeast presents and fruitiness. Creamy beer, complex with citrus, malts and a long finish. Great Beer!
