330 ML bottle at the French Embassy in Pakistan. Don’t ask. Clear light copper body, with virtually no head. The aroma is sweet, yeasty, and slightly spicy. The flavor is fruity and yeasty, with a bit of alcohol present. It’s smooth, but stays nicely on the tongue. Mild aftertaste.

Dec 2, 2009 Poured clear and dark golden in color with a fizzy white head and a stream of upwardly mobile bubbles. The aroma was bread, yeast, malt and light citrus. The flavor was citrus, yeast and malts. Overly carbonation. Harsh mouthfeel. OK. Would make a good gateway brew.

Nov 30, 2009 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a near clear yellow golden with a nice white forthy head. Aroma is very estery, Belgian yeast up the wazoo, doughy, very triple like. Flavor follows exactly, the bottle is a bit less attenuated than when I had this in Belgium, doughy, sugary sweet, very estery, yeasty. I good drinker but I think I prefered this in Belgium when it seemed lighter.

Nov 25, 2009 On tap from the Gingerman Fort Worth. Clear, dark, yellow pour with no head. Faint grain aroma. Tastes a little spicy with banana flavor all over the place. It’s like a terribly thin hef.

Nov 20, 2009 Aromas of banana, fuits, floral. Color is amber orange, with slight haziness. Complex fruity taste, with medium bitterness and a lasting, bitter finish. I am not a huge fan of Belgian Ales, but this is an interesting experience. Not very suited for the weather in Rio de Janeiro, especially on summer. Might be a lot more interesting in the winter, or in Belgium, of course!
