Bottle. Brownish-yellow colour with a short lasting bubbling off-white head. Sweet fruity-sour aroma. Sweet and fruity flavour with some bitterness to it. Good mouthfeel! Good warming and fruity brew.

(DTW Luzern 07) Ok, but aftertaste ruins this one. Pours nice copper-brown with minimal head. Taste of fruits and spices with nice maltiness, but has a sharp bitter aftertaste that lingers too much.

Bottle. High white creamy lasting head. Clear copper body. Sweet aroma of berries and sugar. Alcohol dominates the flavor of barley malt caramel and some hops bitterness with a sharp edge. Nice and long bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. London. Pours brown-red with white generous head that disipates quickly. No great tastes of either hops or caramel, but a strong alcohol body that you can feel on your breath as if it had its own presence.

More brown than amber coloured, but a nice appearance. This Leffe can’t top the brown or blond version, but has a pleasant taste.

Some cherries some roast and the best of the Leffe beers that I have had. Had this at a great cafe in Hasselt, Hemelrijk. Page 279 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide only 339 out of his 500 Classic Brews to go.

One of the rarest of the Leffe, other than 9 degrees because its so new. Very unique and has a color that is a dark amber. Head is thick but fades away. Aroma is nice and spicy and the beer drinks very smooth and you enjoy sipping it slowly. Very nice
